As women, we have been raised to be constantly in tune with the wants and needs of others, which makes it hard to be in tune with our own wants and needs.
In The Gift of Asking book, I list fifteen impacts on women for not asking, here are a few; anger, disconnection, overwhelm, resentment, exhaustion, and lack of fulfilment.
You may be someone who never asks for what you need and want, or you may have one big ask that you are too afraid to act on alone.
Whether you want to ask for a raise at work, more intimacy from your partner, more innovation from your team, or help with the domestic load, this program will meet you where you are right now.
The Gift of Asking Program gives you the time and space to tune into your needs, and it ignites the courage you need to step into the driver's seat of your life. You will learn how to say no, how to set boundaries so you can start saying 'yes' to yourself.
The world has never needed women to own their voices and step into their power the way it does now. My mission is to create a safe coaching space for women to own their worth and honour themselves.
When women do this, we have a positive impact in our own lives but also the lives of others.
By breaking down the cultural myths around asking and worthiness which many of us have learned in childhood, we can elevate ourselves and each other.
Asking allows us to feel fully empowered, valued, and worthy in all aspects of our lives.
I want us to use our voices because they matter.
I want us to stand in whatever spaces we want and know that we are worthy enough to stand there.
I want us to live fully.
This program is for you if:
✓ you want to let go of the pressure that you need to do everything yourself.
✓ you want to let go of feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, taken for granted, or undervalued.
✓ you want to learn to say no with clarity and compassion.
✓ you want to let go of your 'I shoulds' and clarify what you want from your life.
✓ you want more from life, but you are not quite sure what or how to create it.

A Good Girl
A Self-Expressed Woman
My Origin Story.
"My story is not my excuse - it's my why."
As a black child raised by five sets of white foster parents (some incredibly loving, some - not so much), I always felt that I had to prove my worth so that I would be 'allowed to stay.'' I had no say in where I would live or who my new mom and dad would be. I was led to believe that I could not be a 'good girl' but a 'good black girl.'
I was always told to be thankful, always told to be grateful for what I had, never ask for more, and never rock the boat.
So I spent many years being nice and being good.
And now, with thirty years of personal development in my bones and doing my own internal work, things have changed.
Professionally, I am an ICF credentialed coach with nearly a decade of ethical coaching under my belt.
I work with women who want to lead value-based and empowered lives.
I am a feeling person - I can be with and honour my own feelings; so I can sit with and honour your feelings
I am a person of meaningful action - I can guide you to create meaningful action that supports you and your life.
If you want someone to walk alongside you as you step into your worth and into the life you want, it would be my honour and privilege to support you.
